Join us for a heartfelt tribute to the incredible impact Carver Schools (1936-1970) have had on countless lives through the dedication and love of the administrators, teachers, staff, and community s/heroes, led by the inspiring “Professor” James M. Smith Sr. and Thelma Fae Smith.
Friday, May 23, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Harding University will proudly host a private viewing honoring Thelma Fae Smith, the university's distinguished first female graduate.
Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm, as we gather for the James M. Smith Day Program, sharing news about the efforts to preserve the historical buildings and sites that hold our cherished memories. Augusta High School. Master of Ceremonies is Andres Hilliard Blevins, and Speaker Gina Jones, Founder of the JTS Foundation. This event is free and open to the public.
JTS: Presents Performing Arts Scholarship Show on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 7 pm to 9 pm. This fundraising event is perfect for the young and the young at heart!
