Event Description
Get ready for a campy, creative, chaos-fuelled adventure through Karangahape and Ponsonby Roads! The Queer Amazing Race is a scavenger-hunt-style challenge and celebration of queer history, community, and joyful movement.
Teams will make their way between iconic and community-rich locations, following clues that celebrate queer history and culture. Along the way, you’ll take on weird and wonderful challenges: think DIY cheer routines, softball glam-ups, creative pottery-making, safer sex missions, and more. This collaborative event is all about connection, community knowledge, movement, and unapologetic fun – and of course, it all wraps up with some kai (a BBQ).
