The Vic: A Love Story - Encore Screening at The Vic Devonport
A new short film that charts the fascinating history of the Victoria Theatre.

As the oldest purpose-built cinema in the Southern Hemisphere the Vic has a great story to tell.

From its beginnings in 1912 when it was a ‘picture palace’ showing silent films, to the advent of the ‘talkie’ movies and then the digital age, the Vic encompasses the history of cinema in New Zealand cinema.
