The Epic Library Event

We need your help! To get the Saphira Research Library & Document Archive OPEN we need to sort through and load up the boxes of books we currently have sitting in storage.

This is an official 'call-out' to any and all people who are able to volunteer some time over two days - Friday 8 August and Saturday 9 August - to help us get through the boxes.
No experience is necessary.
Anytime you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated and we will provide an endless supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and cake!

We will have 'book training for our Volunteer Session on Thursday 31 July to kick things off and you are very welcome to attend this as well. The session starts at 5.30pm.

The objective is to get our boxes of books out of storage, separate any duplicates, then load the books into our online library portal via LibraryThing. We will also be labeling the books already processed and reorganising the library room to create more shelving space.
