🎧 Pop on your headset, vibe to mama anthems, and rediscover your city while bubba naps, giggles, or grooves along.
We kick off at your friendly Te Manawa Library, and from there, it’s a feel-good soundtrack of absolute bangers — from “Rolling in the Deep” to “Ice Ice Baby” (yes, really!) — before we “Pump It” and let loose. Expect surprise themed activities woven into the music, and a little story that will stir your soul and tickle your funny bone.

Silent Disco Citywalk® Mums & Bubs Edition is lovingly designed by a fellow mama who knows exactly how precious, chaotic, and magical motherhood can be. It is brought to you by Yana Kirakovskaya from Papaya Stories and it's free for you to join thanks to the Henderson-Massey Local Board!
This special event is exclusively for mamas and their bubbas (newborn to 2 years).
Spaces are limited to 25 mamas + 25 bubbas per walk — so gather your mama gang, or come solo and meet your new tribe.
💕IMPORTANT EVENTS INFO:
- This walking experience is designed for ALL mamas and bubbas up to 2 years old — bubbas can join the fun in a carrier, carrycot, pram, or stroller.
- Little humans are welcome to dance or toddle along where it's safe, but for most of the journey, we’d love bubbas to stay snuggled in a carrier or stroller so you can enjoy the groove worry-free.
- Only mamas will be wearing headsets — this is your special audio adventure, while bubba naps, watches, or joins the fun in their own way.
- 🌦 Rain or shine, the disco goes on — so dress for the weather and bring the vibes!
