Rule Breakers Fundraiser

It’s suddenly got very cold and we can all do with a little inspiration at a time like this so please join Mt Albert, Mt Roskill, Auckland Central and Epsom LEC’s as we host a fundraiser at the Capitol to support City Vision’s campaigns for Waitemata & Gulf and Albert-Eden-Puketapapa wards, as well as the Waitemata, Albert-Eden and Puketāpapa Local Boards, and the Portage Licensing Trust.

We’ll be watching Rule Breakers, a film based on a true story of the courageous pioneer and robotics coach Roya Mahboob and the Afghan Dreamers, an all-female robotics team, who defy expectations, rules and the Taliban to share their vision on an international stage.

The film starts at 6.30pm with introductions at 6.15pm so come early to mingle and make sure you stay for the Q&A at the end led by Raihana, a former judge from Afghanistan and a speaker from local STEM.
