Rongoā Hīkoi with Emma Haslam

Registrations required. Event will happen rain or shine (indoor kōrero if raining).

Arataki Visitor Centre and Glen Eden Library have come together to bring this kaupapa to our local hapori, hosting skilled kaiako, Emma Haslam.

This event will be a guided hīkoi around Arataki to learn about the tikanga, mātauranga and kaupapa surrounding rongoā. We will open with karakia and mihimihi, so please be on time and meet at the pou outside the entrance of Arataki Visitor Centre. This event is best suited for 16+, children must be supervised at all times and please dress comfortably.
