Phil Blease Solo Exhibition Artist Statement
Phil’s love of bold vibrant colours is evident in his paintings, creating an evocative collection that are set to resonate with his audience.
Originally from the UK, Phil studied Fine Art in England and a further 2 years in Spain.
After years of developing his skills with all types of mediums, Phil primarily uses oil paints. He enjoys the versatility, the textures and the vividness that oils produce.
From a young age, Phil was immersed in the world of music—his father played in a band, and his home was filled with the sounds of legendary artists and unforgettable melodies. That early exposure sparked a lifelong appreciation for iconic musicians and the cultural impact they’ve made. Equally, Phil has always been drawn to the world of sports. As a devoted fan, he finds endless fascination in the dedication, power, and charisma of professional athletes. His work celebrates these influential figures—capturing not only their likeness, but the emotion, energy, and legacy they bring to the world stage.
Phil also featured on Sky Arts “Landscape Artist of the year” UK, 2023.
Phil is a versatile talent, boasting a stunning portfolio of vibrant landscapes, seascapes, portraits and figurative fine art!
