Pacific Dance Festival: Faiva at the Museum

Faiva at the Museum will give you a sneak peek at two new contemporary dance works from Pacific Dance Festival's 2025 programme.

'Faiva' is more than performance — it’s the living expression of Pacific identity, knowledge, and connection through movement, voice, and heart. Get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creative process in Faiva at the Museum — an open rehearsal that invites audiences into the world of Pacific dance.

Join us in Te Ao Mārama South Atrium for excerpts of these works, and to hear from the choreographers ahead of the premiere performances at Mangere Arts Centre.

Pacific Dance Festival is an annual festival based in Tāmaki Makaurau which celebrates the beauty and diversity of Pacific dance, from powerful heritage forms to bold contemporary works.
