New Zealand Surgical Skills Workshop

Kia Ora and welcome to AUSS x ASSA x NZOEG x NZMSJ's exciting new surgical workshop. This workshop will have 4 unique hands-on stations that have never been implemented for medical students at the University of Auckland. We will be running a 2 hour workshops across 4 total streams. Our stations include a hands-on Stryker Orthopaedic station, Trauma station, Johnson and Johnson, Laparoscopic basics station and clinical application for Laparoscopic surgery. Each stream is limited to 40 students and spots will be allocated on a first in first serve basis.

The day of the event is Sunday the 10th of August at the MDL labs. There are 3 streams.
Stream 1 is from 9am-11am
Stream 2 is from 11am-1pm
Lunch: NZMSJ presentation on networking and involvement in research in surgery
Stream 3 is from 1pm-3pm
