Nau Mai Haere Mai Join the Māngere Rangatahi RideOuts Exploring 275 Māngere the better way — on wheels 🚲
Every Sunday in August 2025
Meet 3pm Māngere BikeFIT Community Hub Māngere Town Centre
There’s no better way to connect with our hood than through active transport. Cycling opens up parts of Māngere you’d never discover from a car— peaceful paths, hidden gems, and stunning natural surroundings that nourish the wairua.
Protected cycle lanes aren’t just about bikes—they’re about equity and access. They give our most vulnerable and underserved communities safer, healthier transport options and better access to schools, shops, parks, mahi, and whānau. Projects like Māngere West and other cycling initiatives across the area mean more people have choices in how they get around—making it easier, safer, and more enjoyable to ride.
Big mihi to the crew for making it happen, and special shoutout to our rangatahi leaders featured in the poster Maliu, Ioaba, and Manu paving the way to make Māngere the Cycling Capital of the Pacific.
