Sweet songs from Acacia O’Connor; and a brief run down of her experiences when she travelled to Egypt recently with Global Movement to Gaza’s New Zealand delegation. We’ll hear about the movement’s campaign to send a flotilla of boats to get humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Rimu Glade Studio (4 Rimu Rd, Oratia) is the drama and music studio run by West Auckland musician and theatre practitioner John Goudge. It is set amidst the trees of the Waitakere foothills and has provided a special creative space for artists and audiences for two decades. Park on the driveway and car-pool if you can.
Musical Sound Journey weaves together ethnic instruments from around the globe with modern soundscapes—blending ambient music, chill-out grooves, jazz, electronica, live percussion and song into a transformative musical experience.
Matt Reece is a long-time student of world instruments, including overtone flutes, kalimba, ngoni (African harp), taonga puoro (traditional Māori instruments), didgeridoo, and percussion.
John Goudge has been a singer/songwriter, composer, and musical director for four decades. He fuses SFX, synthesizers, guitars, and voice with world music.

Acacia O’Connor is a Toi Whakaari graduate with extensive experience in film, television, theatre and voice. Theatre Scene called her original show 'A Few Things I've Learnt About Dating and Death' the 'best show of 2018.' She’s a teacher, writer and musician, and leader of Australia and New Zealand’s fundraising efforts for Global Movement to Gaza.
