Join us for a unique wānanga (workshop) that brings together the wisdom of the Maramataka – the Māori lunar calendar – with the Hindu Panchangam.

What to expect:

𖤓 Guest Speaker : A Hindu Priest will discuss parallels between the Maramataka and the Hindu lunar calendar. Learn how both traditions use celestial cycles to guide daily life, agriculture, and spiritual practice.

𖤓Rāranga(flax weaving)- Learn this traditional Māori art using harakeke (flax)

𖤓Hands-on crafting session to make a rotating Maramataka pinwheel – a practical tool to track moon phases and align your life with lunar energy.
