Jazz and Bollywood Dance Fusion

Come and join me (Akriti) for a Jazz and Bollywood dance fusion session! My first introduction to dance was through Bollywood, however when I discovered Authentic Jazz Dancing.. I became hooked and dived into that world for over 20 years of training, teaching and performing both locally and internationally for a plethora of ages, levels and environments. I am really excited to be expanding my bubble again, to bring the 2 worlds together this time, to hopefully offer something new, fun and expansive for myself and for you.

Come give it a try! Not matter what background or experience you come from, you might just be pleasantly surprised and delighted.

This is an open level session. Suitable for the beginner to experienced dancer. The choreography accommodates for the beginner whilst also including detailed nuances for the experienced dancer to refine, experiment and deepen their understanding through.

There will be an opportunity to perform. However, this is not a performance focused session. It will prioritise energy and personal expression.

The music we will be dancing to is Pasoori by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill.

Come ready to break a sweat and have heaps of fun dancing your way in to good vibes, confidence and community.
