UNDERSTANDING DYSLEXIA
One in ten of us are dyslexic and it can vary from mild right through to having a crippling impact on a person’s life.
I know! I am dyslexic as is one of our sons and one of his. You see it’s hereditary. Dyslexia gets passed down from your parents – same as eye colour hair colour etc.
Dyslexic people tend to think predominantly with pictures and use their creative imagination. This is different to most of the populace which
uses words and language.
Come and learn how it feels to be dyslexic and what can realistically be done to help people like me to succeed in a word and education-oriented world.
Suggested Koha: $10 (cash appreciated)
On-site parking available
Tea coffee & light refreshments served afterwards
Everyone welcome!
