FACTION WAR
Earth Federation vs Zeon — Faction War Rules
1. Faction Selection
• Players choose to join either Earth Federation or Zeon at the start of the season.
• Faction choice is locked for the season (unless defection rule is introduced later).
🏆 2. Earning Faction Points
Players earn Faction Points each week by:
• +1 for attending a league session
• +1 for defeating an opposing faction member in a match
• +1 for winning the weekly event (e.g., coming 1st overall)
⚖️ Faction Balance Rule:
If one faction has 2 or more players more than the other in a given week:
→ The underdog faction gains +2 points instead of +1 for each win against the larger faction that week.
🎖️ 3. Ranks and Elo System
• Every player starts at Rating 1000
• Matches use a simplified Elo rating system to adjust personal scores after wins/losses
• Your Elo score determines your individual rank title(e.g., Private, Sergeant, Captain, etc.)
Faction titles are cosmetic, but tied to your skill progression.
🎁 4. End-of-Season Rewards
• The faction with the highest total score at the end of 12 weeks wins the Faction War
• The prize: a booster box of the latest set
• It is distributed among faction members based on individual Elo rankings
