Hearken Ye!

Upon the eve of May’s final day — the one and thirtieth, under moon’s watchful eye — the house of Il Brutto — under command of the returning Glass Half Full guild, shall host a most wondrous revelry. Two kindred souls, bosom companions and masters of the wheel of wax, shall take to the decks in back-to-back brotherhood: Foxtrot B2B Kravis.

From the fair harbour of Te Whanganui-a-Tara came Foxtrot, and from the southern shores of Timaru hails Kravis. Their paths did first entwine in the spirited lands of Ōtautahi, where their friendship, like fine wine or well-aged dubplate, was sealed by the power of shared sonic vision. In the year past, they did journey northward and now dwell amidst the hum and thrum of Tāmaki Makaurau, where their sound hath grown ever mightier.

Bound not by genre but by the spirit of sound, these noble selectors bring forth a voyage most wild and diverse. From the deep thrum of techno to the nimble shuffles of garage, from the thunderous rush of jungle to the crisp clap of breaks, even unto the celestial realms of trance — no corner of the dance doth remain untouched. Expect an extended set wherein melody and madness entwine ‘til the very stars do tremble.

And lo! In noble support come two fine heralds of the underground: Candi, a dubstep and techno conjurer of Ōtepoti, whose riddims strike like thunder ‘cross darkened moors; and Pork Crackle, trance-wielder and techno-mancer of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, whose sets dost stir both flesh and spirit, soaring through psy-trance realms and into the rave beyond.

Let it be known — the 31st of May shall be a night writ in legend.
