How does the competition judging & scoring work?
All entries are judged on:
Overall impression: Look, smell etc does it make your mouth salivate?
Texture: Perfectly cooked with appealing texture? Fat rendered? Do the textures complement the cut?
Taste: Are the flavours appealing to complement the protein & balanced. Do they offer a satisfying eating experience?
Ties are broken by the highest Taste Score, followed by the highest Texture Score, and then the highest Presentation Score. Further tie breaks will include the highest number of 10’s or 9’s scored in each element until a winner is awarded.
