With funding from Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa and The Bobby Stafford Bush Foundation we are excited to be back at Tahuna Torea Reserve for a family-friendly kayak day.
Make the most of the winter half-term by bringing your whānau to try kayaking in the estuary with Auckland Sea Kayaks. Learn about the roosting shorebirds that call this unique habitat home on a guided walk by local expert Shaun Lee!
Expect to spend 1.5hrs on the water and 1 hour on a gentle walk.
This event is designed for tamariki and rangatahi aged 7-18 years old and their guardians.
Minimum age for kayaking is 7. All children 13 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult on the water.
