Delicate cannoli filled with smoked kahawai and fromage, golden crispy fish croquettes topped with mascarpone and caviar, light and airy coconut lamingtons, and nostalgic lolly cake ice cream sandwiches – just a few of the delicious new menu items on our Aotearoa High Tea menu.
Layers of history, art, design and culinary delights: High Tea in The Libraries is a celebration of Aotearoa, featuring contemporary delicacies crafted by Executive Chef, Andrew Lautenbach, who drew inspiration from some of his favourite childhood treats. Be welcomed into this timeless space with a glass of No1 Family Estate Assemblé, followed by a selection of teas from Zealong, New Zealand's only commercial tea estate. Then linger over three leisurely courses featuring delightful savoury and sweet bites made using beautiful, sustainably sourced, seasonal produce.
You'll enjoy your High Tea in the elegantly refurbished, richly layered heritage spaces of The Libraries, where hand-crafted chandeliers and kauri tables sit alongside New Zealand contemporary art and modern design pieces. Usually open exclusively to hotel guests, The Libraries (located on the first floor of the 18th century Masonic building in The Hotel Britomart) are opening their doors for visitors booked in for this High Tea event.
$95 per guest. If you are staying at The Hotel Britomart please contact
