A discussion with Paul Moon - Treaty origins

You are welcome to Parnell Community Centre's NZ History discussion Club for a special talk with Paul Moon on July 8 at 1.30pm.

Dr Paul Moon is Professor of History at the Faculty of Maori Development, Auckland University of Technology, where he has taught since 1993. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Philosophy degree, a Master of Arts degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy. In 2003, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society at University College, London.

Moon is widely recognised for his study of the Treaty of Waitangi and the early period of Crown rule in New Zealand. Author of over 35 books on our NZ history, we are very pleased to have a discussion with him.

Our History Club enjoys good fellowship and cuppa while discussing Aotearoa New Zealand's shared colonial history. Hobbyist to Historian welcome to this discussion club.

$5 per session - cash or eftpos on day, part of social activities at Parnell Community Centre.
1.30pm presentation - 2.30pm afternoon tea - Open discussion till close at 3.30pm
