Join our 5-week Circular Woodworking Course with The ReCreators.
This course is a great opportunity to sharpen your woodworking and power tool skills while creating functional and beautifully crafted wooden pieces from timber.
You'll be working with upcycled wood, learning how to repurpose timber into something beautiful and useful. Good for your home and the planet!
Gain confidence and skills with tools like jigsaws, drills, and sanders as you work on:
A native timber chopping board
A solid outdoor chair or bench
A DIY project of your choice, with support and design advice from Buffie
We recommend checking out plans on www.anawhite.com to help shape your project ideas.
All materials will be supplied.
There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools.
All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!).
Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.
* Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
* Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
When: Every Saturday from 9 Aug - 13 Sep 9.30am to 12.30pm ( No class on 6 Sep)
Where: The ReCreator's Green Space, 135 Chamberlain Road, Massey, Auckland.
Parking: please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd. Please do not drive past the gravel and onto the concrete area.
