You are invited!
As summer begins to slip away and the air starts to shift, we find ourselves in the beautiful transition between Lughnasadh and Mabon, when the gardens are full, the light begins to wane, and there is a gentle invitation to slow down.
You are invited to the garden for an afternoon of intention, creativity, and connection. Surrounded by late summer blooms and early signs of fall, attendees will craft their own crescent moon wall hanging using natural materials (grapevine, dried herbs and flowers, citrus, and embellishments).
All materials and supplies will be provided.
Enjoy light seasonal snacks, herbal tea and mocktails, made with ingredients harvested right from the garden where we’ll gather. You will learn about the symbolism of the plants and herbs you’re working with. & we will also explore a bit about the Wheel of the Year, focusing on the themes of Lughnasadh and Mabon (abundance, gratitude, and preparation for the darker half of the year).
This event will take place at a private family home, in a beautiful outdoor space where we’ll spend the afternoon together. Please be mindful and treat the space as you would your own. Due to the location, space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
You’re welcome to bring anything that will help make your time more comfortable; a blanket to sit on, a journal for reflections or notes, sun hat or sweater, depending on the weather. Please note that this is an entirely outdoor gathering.
We’ll also be creating a small seasonal altar together to welcome in the shift toward autumn. If you feel called, bring a small natural offering; a dried flower, crystal, shell, fresh herbs, or any meaningful item you’re willing to leave behind as part of our communal altar.
