About the event

Social Science Surveyors
Social Science Surveyors is a homeschool class designed for middle and high school aged students.

Social Science Surveyors: The American Revolution meets on Mondays from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm in the Assembly Room of the Main Library. Spring semester runs from January 5th through May 18th.

Since the United States is turning 250 this year, Social Science Surveyors will study The Revolutionary War. Students will use material from The American Revolution, the newest documentary series from filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. We will examine how 13 colonies on the Atlantic Coast united in rebellion, won their independence, and established a republic that still endures.
