Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Prison City - NORTH STREET. During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic! She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile and how to grout your piece. Then you'll use your new skills to make a mirror! We'll provide a variety of solid color tiles like those shown, as well as some found materials/tiles.
Black grout will be used for this project, as shown.
Mirror is 12" in diameter, 3/4" thick, and there is a keyhole hanger in the back.
Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project. This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.
This event is for ages 12+.
This workshop will be held at Prison City Brewing at their North Street location outside in their beautiful courtyard (there are umbrellas for shade)! You're welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase beverages and food from Prison City to fuel your creativity!
