Meet Local Author S.J. Gruberg: The Art of Self-Publishing

Join us for our Annual Meeting featuring local author S.J. Gruberg. S.J. 'Sandi' will discuss her recently published novel, "The Rainmaker's Child," involving the challenges faced by a young carnival performer, her 'Rainmaker' father, and other family members during the closing days of World War II. As a self-published author, she'll share the considerations involved, as well as the challenges and benefits of self-publishing. An Auburn native, and University of Washington graduate, the author taught academic writing for Central Washington University. She is now an educator and advocate for individuals with disabilities.

A brief business meeting will precede the presentation. Light refreshments will be served; book copies will be available for purchase.
