About the host group:
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) is a youth service organization that is a part of the Masonic family, with a focus on teaching young girls life skills, leadership, and personal development through community service and various social activities for girls between the ages of 11 and 20, and the organization emphasizes personal growth, service to others and fostering a sense of sisterhood. Members participate in meetings, and community service projects.

The Pledge Girls are younger members (usually ages 6–10) who are part of the Rainbow family but do not yet fully engage in the activities of the order. They take part in activities that help them develop the values of the Rainbow program, such as service, leadership, and friendship, though in a more age-appropriate way.
