1. Eligibility will be based on Rider and Horse combination.
2. Rider and Horse team must compete at a minimum of eight ( 8) scheduled barrel races during the May through August season to be eligible to participate in final jackpot and received year end awards.
3. If a horse needs to be substituted due to injury, a veterinary certificate must be provided. These runs will count towards the original horse/rider combination. Once the original horse is able to return to competition, their points will continue to count towards the original team and the substitute horse will begin their own attendance count.
4. Points earned in the finals will be included toward year end awards.
5. Added money to each class will be at the discretion of the Attica Rodeo & Show Association barrel racing committee.

Year-End Awards
1. Points will be based on horse and rider team, which are accumulated during the May through August runs and Finals.
2. Rider/Horse team must compete at a minimum of eight (8) scheduled barrel races during the May through August approved season in the class(es) they wish to qualify for awards and participate in the Added Money Finals.
1. Top five (5) rider/horse team will receive awards
a. Note: A saddle may be given to Top Pointed Rider in the Open 1D, but this is not guaranteed as an award. Also, the committee has the discretion to increase or decrease the amount of awards given based on available funds.
2. The following will be used to break ties for year-end awards
a. the rider/horse team which attends the most shows
b. the rider/horse team which won the highest places within the division
c. coin flip
Miscellaneous
1. Draws will be completed by the computer software. If rider competes with multiple horses and they don’t specify the run order on the entry form, each horse’s run will fall as placed in the computer draw. Once the draw has been completed and posted – NO changing of the draw order or horse order (if multiple horses) will be allowed.
2. All horses and people need to stay clear of the alleyway entrances at all times when race is in progress.
3. Competitors and Exhibitioners will receive three (3) arena calls. Failure to enter the arena by the third call will result in a disqualification unless otherwise directed.
4. Each exhibition run will have a 45-second time limit.
5. No schooling of horses during a competitive run.
6. No running of horses in any area except the arena and designated warm up area.
7. Pedestrians are not allowed to walk or stand in the holding area or alley way where competitors enter for their run.
8. These rules cannot cover all possible situations that may arise during a show. ARSA Barrel Racing Committee decision will be final.
9. Poor sportsmanship and/or unreasonable behavior will not be tolerated.
10. We reserve the right to eject ANYONE from the premises if they don’t comply with our rules. Refund of entry fees upon ejection shall be at ARSA discretion.
11. You ride at your own risk. Anyone participating in events at the ARSA Rodeo Grounds will be responsible for his/her own safety, family, and property. Everyone entering the premise must acknowledge the fact that there are inherent risks in any kind of equine activity.
