The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival Returns This August

Now in its 23rd year the Summer Shade Festival returns to Grant Park on Saturday August 23 and Sunday August 24 2025 for a weekend that blends music art food and community in one of Atlanta’s most historic parks. A signature fundraiser for the Grant Park Conservancy the free two-day event features live performances on two stages a curated artist market alongside a vintage showcase by GVG Events and a strong lineup of family-friendly programming—including  Deep South Wrestling a Kids’ Bouncy House Village and a Sunday morning Move & Groove activation. With 140+ regional vendors local bites and sips and much more Summer Shade offers a mix of creativity and connection. The festivities begin Saturday at 8 a.m. with the Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K a neighborhood race through Grant Park’s scenic streets supporting the Conservancy’s ongoing preservation efforts. To learn more donate or get involved visit www.gpconservancy.org.
