Pirate Sea Shanty Sing-a-Long at DragonCon!

**Ahoy Mates! Shanties will be sung at DC this year!**
*Sat, 2:30pm; Courtland Grand Hotel, by the pool (indoors)*

Here's the plan: We'll gather by the indoor pool at the Courtland Hotel (formerly Sheraton) on Saturday between 2:00 & 2:30pm, and we'll kick off shanties around 2:30. Of the three of us who normally lead it, Dan Garner & Steven R. Denham unfortunately can't make it this year - but - I'll carry on the tradition for us, and David Lemley has stepped up to help out. 🙂
The pirate photo event is 1:00pm at the Hilton, so that should leave plenty of time to walk the couple of blocks to the Courtland afterward. For those who get thirsty along the way, the hotel's bar/restaurant (Fandangles) overlooks the pool & you can avail yourself of more libations there. 🍻
Please note: This is not an 'official' DragonCon event. We're organizing it ourselves to keep the music & magic happening. 🙂 And hopefully the official event will be back next year. Don't forget to email, call, message via the app, etc. to DC with requests to bring back the Pirate Shanty Sing-a-Long event for 2026.
