About the event

Modern miniatures: Doll-sized designs from Théâtre de la Mode
Enter the world of miniature fashion design as SCAD FASH special guest Jennifer Schottstaedt, puppet shop manager at the Center for Puppetry Arts, discusses the Théâtre de la Mode and Jeanne Lanvin’s contributions to France’s tiny world of fashion. Following WWII, Lanvin and other couture designers banded together to raise post-war relief for the capital with 1/3-scale designs. Learn more about Lanvin’s designs in all sizes and what it’s like to create miniatures today.
