We are excited to be collaborating with Living Walls on a mural ride showcasing some new murals by various artists on Saturday, May 24th at 11am! The ride will take you from the Plaza on Ponce to Mother’s Best Fried Chicken in Decatur with stops along the way at Midtown Cleaners, Lake Claire, and East Lake. Meet some of the artists and enjoy fresh art in the city.
Living Walls seeks to change the industry of public art by creating more space, visibility, representation & celebration for women, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ voices. Founded in 2010, they have produced over 500 works of public art in Atlanta and beyond, working with artists from all over the world. From start to finish, they develop projects that strive for the equitable futures of our communities and speak at the intersection of arts, culture, and societal change.
