Crafting “Ladies with Purpose”: The Plastic Bag Holder Doll Making Workshop

Join us for a 4-hour Ladies with Purpose workshop where you'll create unique and functional plastic bag holder dolls. Learn how to transform everyday fabrics into beautiful, sustainable art that combines both practicality and creativity. Each "Lady" you craft will reflect your personal style, resourcefulness, and purpose. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a beginner, you'll receive hands-on guidance to design a personalized doll that leaves a lasting impact. By the end of the session, you'll take home a one-of-a-kind creation that is both beautiful and meaningful.

For those interested in adding hair to their doll, we offer an additional 3-4 hour class called Fundamentals of Doll Hair Design and Styling, available immediately after this workshop.

A sewing machine and basic sewing tools are needed for this class. If you don't have one please contact me ASAP @ (404)409-7394

Please note: In our classes and workshops, the dolls you create are faceless because face painting is a detailed and delicate process that requires additional time to create and in between each step they must dry properly. Over the years, I've perfected my face-painting techniques and found that to ensure the best results, it’s important to let the painted faces set completely before finalizing them, which takes about 24 hours.

For this reason, we focus on building and assembling your doll’s body during class, leaving the face as the final touch. If you'd like a beautiful, custom face added, I would be happy to paint your doll for you after the workshop for a small fee of $10.

This approach allows you to complete the hands-on crafting process in class while ensuring that your doll’s face is done with care and precision. Once the face is painted, your doll will be ready for you to enjoy and display!
