Across The Blue Line is the centerpiece of our inaugural short film screening event—a story that challenges perspectives and sparks dialogue around adversity, law enforcement, and human trafficking.
This special evening will also feature two standout short films from rising independent filmmakers:
• Friend Zone – an award-winning drama that dives into the complexities of timing, connection, and unspoken feelings. With festival accolades under its belt, this emotionally charged story explores the fragile line between friendship and something more—and what happens when the moment to act may have already passed.
• D’Wize Guys – a gripping action-drama that blends sharp streetwise dialogue with high-stakes tension. Centered on loyalty, survival, and ambition in a world where every decision has consequences, this film delivers adrenaline and depth in equal measure.
The screening will conclude with a live Q&A featuring the filmmakers and select cast members, offering insight into their creative process and storytelling approach.
This is the first in a planned series of events celebrating independent cinema and uplifting underrepresented voices. Join us for an unforgettable night of bold storytelling and authentic conversation.
