The workshop will be given by Rachel Moloney, who is an award winning screenwriter and script editor from Co. Wexford.
After studying at the National Film school in IADT, her graduate short film, Starry Night went on to screen at numerous festivals around the world and pick up several awards including Best Irish Short at IndieCork 2019 and Best Student short at KIFF.
Since graduating, Rachel has worked at RTE as a Script Editor for Fair city, having edited over 400 episode for the series.
The event will include a presentation on short film writing followed by workshopping short film script ideas with participants. Participants are encourage to bring ideas with them for the second half of the workshop but it is not necessary.
