Africa Day

The Africa Day celebrations in Moate will take place over the weekend of 23rd to 25th May 2025, featuring a vibrant program of events held across various venues. The weekend will showcase the richness of African culture within the local community through music, dance, food, fashion, and art. The main event—a joyful Africa Day and Street Feast Picnic—will be held on Sunday, 25th May from 1–6pm at Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park. This community celebration promotes diversity, inclusion, friendship, and solidarity, inviting everyone to come together, share food, and enjoy African culture.
