What
The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run is the city’s original and best-loved running event – over 99% of runners say they’d recommend it to a friend. And in true Mancunian style, it’s a party from start to finish, with a high-energy soundtrack, live music and entertainment zones at every turn – plus, some of the loudest and most enthusiastic local support we’ve seen anywhere in the UK.
Great Manchester Run entries are open to runners aged 15+ (10k) and 17+ (Half marathon) on the day of the event.

Why
To raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice which cares for people with a life-limiting illness in Warrington. St. Rocco’s offers care and support for patients and families within the Hospice, as well as through our Hospice at Home and Family Support services.
We rely on the local community for over 80% of our funding, so taking part in the Great Manchester Run and raising sponsorship is a great way to support your local Hospice!

Please contact us by emailing events @stroccos.org.uk or phone 01925 575780 and ask to speak to the Fundraising Team. Or click here to register.
Please note once you have completed the registration form you will receive an email from Run For Charity to log into your account and complete the second part of your registration. Only once you do this will you be officially signed up to the event.
After this you will receive a Fundraising Pack including an official St. Rocco’s running vest and various fundraising materials. The fundraising team will also be on hand leading up to the event to support you as much as necessary with your fundraising.
