Through our Eyes: Healing through Storytelling

Join us for a powerful day of connection, reflection, and learning at Through Our Eyes: Healing through Storytelling. This prevention-focused event highlights the ways personal stories can foster resilience, recovery, and community healing.

The day will feature a keynote presentation by Jake Ross of Presidential Consulting, who will share insights on Narrative Healing—how storytelling can be used as a tool for personal growth, collective understanding, and community transformation.

In addition to the keynote, participants will engage in interactive break-out sessions that explore storytelling from multiple perspectives, providing practical tools and strategies for prevention and healing work. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to participate in a gallery walk of the Voices and Vision exhibit, currently on display at The Dairy Barn, which showcases moving stories of lived experiences from across the region.

This event is designed for prevention professionals, educators, community leaders, and anyone interested in the power of stories to inspire healing and change. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be applied for.
