Play The Spaces, a new eclectic band out of Athens Co. Ohio w/some serious hitting power. Charles Button has released several albums and wrote, arranged, played on, produced many others,…leads the way on bass and Vocals. Joey Wolpert from Columbus plays guitar and sings, the wonderful Jim Wachtel lays down the keys, Scott Kitchen sits behind the drums while Ted Harris solos on Sax, Clarinet or flute. From some originals to Cissy Strut, Fire by the Ohio Players, to Herbie Hancock and the Tower of Power. Let’s just say we have high energy funk blues soul jazz and fusion. Our last rehearsal was killer. Don’t let that silly red barn lull you into a false sense of calm. We are nothing near calm.
