Registration Deadlines: GYHD Build a Mug

Get Your Hands Dirty: Build a Mug with Patricia Shook is open to ages 16 and older with no experience required.

Select one Saturday: August 16, September 6, or 20, 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

This one-day class is perfect for those who have never made pottery and want to try hand building techniques, or are looking for a refresher. In this two-hour workshop, you'll create pottery items like bowls and cups. Students will be able to keep up to 2 pieces. Students will collectively choose a glaze color for their pieces and the instructor will finish your work. Students will be notified once their pieces are ready to be picked up (3-4 weeks after class).

Registration deadline for each session is Friday at 5:00 PM the day before class. This one day class is $75 and includes all materials.

Please note there is a transaction fee to register online, however students may register over the phone at 423-745-8781, or in person at The Arts Center, with no transaction fee.
