Evening for Educators

Enjoy a glass of wine with a catered dinner while networking with other art educators in the Athens-area. Learn more about the museum’s PK - 12 programming and our newly launched teacher resources, enter to win raffle prizes and participate in an art-making workshop led by local teaching artist Toni Carlucci. Schedule:

5 p.m. — Check in at the Georgia Museum of Art (in the lobby) and enjoy dinner with drinks.

5:30 p.m. — Museum Toolkit: What’s New for PK-12 Educators with Kaitlyn Loyd, assistant curator of education

6 p.m. — Weaving workshop with Toni Carlucci, teaching artist, inspired by the new installation “Looking Through a Sewn Sky: Rachel B. Hayes”

7 p.m. — Raffle prize announcements
