An Old-Fashioned pounding for Brady and Jaymie

In the spirit of old-fashioned hospitality, we're throwing a "pounding" to celebrate Brady and Jaymie's upcoming marriage!

What is a pounding?

This classic Southern tradition is a way to fill the newlywed's pantry with kitchen staples. Instead of a traditional shower gift, we are asking each guest to bring a pound (or more!) of a single item to stock their home.

Ideas include:
A pound of sugar, flour, or coffee
A pound of ground beef or other frozen meat
A jar of spices, sauces, or jams
A bottle of olive oil or maple syrup
A bag of pancake mix or pasta
Cleaning supplies or paper products
