Rules are as follows:
*Tickets are sold here in person at the shop from now until the date of the tournament.
*Boating IS permitted. Please follow all PA Fish and Boat Commission laws and safety regulations when on the water.
*PA fishing license is required; this is the responsibility of the participants.
*DO NOT fish on private property unless you have proper authority to do so.
*ALL FISH CAUGHT AND SUBMITTED MUST BE KEPT ALIVE, IN GOOD CONDITION, AND RETURNED TO THE WATER UNDISTRESSED. PENALTIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR THOSE RETUENING DEAD OR DISTRESSED FISH TO THE WATER.
*This tournament will only take submissions of LIVE Smallmouth Bass.
*Any type of legal bait, alive or otherwise, is permitted in this tournament.
*This tournament is individual; there are no teams or dual entries for any fish.
*$20 entry, you will be issued a ticket with a unique identifying number to which your name and fish will be recorded. Please keep this ticket with you during the tournament, if you do not have your ticket, we will not be able to verify your entry and record your catches.
*The prizes will be determined the evening of August 15th after all tickets and participants have been tallied.
*Winners will be DETERMINED BY THE LENGTH of the 3 largest fish caught by the individual. Although you are permitted to submit up to 6.
*The tournament will run from 8am-8pm Saturday August 16,2025.
*We must keep the fishing within the Susquehanna and Chemung Rivers from the New York State border to the Ulster bridge in Ulster, PA
* We will be having individuals policing this event so you must stay within this boundary because this is the area of the river we are permitted to use, if you are caught outside this boundary, you will be immediately disqualified! PA Fish and Boat Commission Conservation Officers will also be patrolling the event.
*When you hit your limit or would like to submit a fish you must come to the shop located at 118 Susquehanna St in Athens, for submission will be during tournament hours. Submissions will no longer be accepted past 8:15pm on Saturday August 16th.
*Winners will be announced on the evening of Saturday August 16th.
