� Lolly’s 40 for SOSAD – Shaving the Years to Save Lives �
At Matthews Bar, we are proud to welcome you for a very special night in support of SOSAD Cavan, a charity doing vital work in mental health and suicide prevention across Ireland.
On January 10th 2026 from 10pm, our good friend Lolly will be marking her 40th birthday in the most powerful way imaginable — by picking up the clippers and shaving off all her hair, not for attention or celebration, but to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to her heart.
Joining Lolly on the night will be two local legends:
� Conor, who hasn’t been clean-shaven in 14 years
� Colm, whose children have never seen him without his beard
And keeping things firmly under control will be the wonderful Maggie from Sssssh, who will be in charge of the clippers on the night — steady hands guaranteed (we hope!).
This night is about more than hair. It’s about starting conversations, supporting those who are struggling, and reminding people that they are never alone.
There will be a raffle and spot prizes on the night, with all proceeds going directly to SOSAD Cavan.
