Free VIP Bus Passes for the 80+ Crowd

If you or someone you know is 80 or older, here’s some great news!

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Atascadero Senior Center (5905 East Mall), every North County resident age 80+ is invited to receive a FREE VIP transit pass, courtesy of SLO County’s Council of Governments. Just bring your ID and a smile for your pass photo.

Your VIP pass gives you free rides on any fixed-route bus in the county. (Please note: Shuttle services such as Senior Go are not included.)

This is also a perfect time to join the Atascadero Senior Center! For just $20, your membership runs through Dec. 31, 2026 and includes free participation in all of our activities and events.
