As many of you know, the Eichhorn family experienced a heartbreaking loss in September 2024. At 33 weeks pregnant, Meghan suffered a complete placental abruption and had to deliver her son, Maxwell “Max”James, stillborn via an emergency C-section.

During the surgery, Meghan experienced DIC losing 2.75 liters of blood. She required a massive blood transfusion, receiving 10 units of blood products, including red blood cells, plasma, platelets, and cryoprecipitate, which ultimately saved her life. Two days later, Meghan received two additional units of red blood cells to restore her hemoglobin levels.

In gratitude for the blood donations that helped save Meghan’s life, we are hosting a blood drive to honor Max, celebrate Meghan and support others in need.
