Sacred Echoes: A One-Day Retreat of Sound, Stillness & Belonging

In a world that constantly pulls us outward, this retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself—through sacred sound, contemplative practice, and connection to the land.

Rooted in ancestral memory and supported by the vibrational tools of voice, gong, and alchemy crystal bowls, Sacred Echoes is a one-day immersion into rest, resonance, and reconnection.

You’ll be guided by three facilitators:Rashid Hughes – Intersectional-contemplative teacher and restorative justice practitioner who weaves presence and liberation into stillness-based practices, and is the co-founder of the Heart Refuge Mindfulness Community.

Reggie Hubbard – Global wellness guide and activist who uses the ancient tones of the gong to awaken the body’s deeper intelligence and inspire inner shift. He is also the founder of Active Peace Yoga.

Johanna Olivas – Sound healer, yoga and meditation guide, and founder of Luna Serenity, creating sacred spaces that restore individual and collective wholeness.

Together, we’ll explore sound as a sacred portal—through chanting, toning, breath, movement, and deep rest. You’ll also take part in a Soil + Sound Bundle ritual—gathering elements of the land and infusing them with your voice to create a tactile offering of intention, remembrance, or release.

This 1 day retreat will include:

• Gong activation to awaken energy and dissolve stagnation
• Guided breathwork and toning practices
• Somatic movement for gentle integration
• Restorative sound journey with alchemy crystal bowls
• Soil + Sound ritual to connect with the land and your own inner voice
• Small group reflection circles for authentic connection

You’ll leave with a greater sense of inner clarity, connection to community, and a felt experience of vibrational healing.

No experience with sound, movement, or meditation is required.Participants should bring a mat and a bolster.
