Baltimore and DC area burlesque fam! Join us for a day of rest and restoration among affirming community. We’re taking over the beautiful Blueberry Gardens for a burlesque peer review and play day!

Blueberry Gardens is located in Ashton, Maryland in Montgomery County on the Howard County line, convenient to both Baltimore and DC by car.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon at a secluded space where sultry burlesque movement meets serene meditation. It’s a playful, powerful blend you won’t want to miss! Float between the indoor and outdoor spaces to experience the lush gardens and the curated offerings. 

Inside - a 990 square foot spacious and beautiful octagon with 360-degree natural light. This will be our movement practice and peer review performance space. Move. Dance. Stretch. Connect.

Outside - a 15 acre property surrounded by woods and fields. Lay out. Touch grass. Watch clouds. Pick blueberries. Yes, there’s an actual blueberry garden! Blueberries and honey are available for purchase (pending availability)

This is a family-friendly event. You are welcome to bring your minis to enjoy the outdoor space. Children, however, are not allowed in the peer review performance space. Please leave your fur babies at home.

Would you like some feedback on a new act? Do you have an old routine that needs some new steam? Then sign up for peer review. Bring your costume and choreo, just like you would for a show. No pressure, just peer review! Peer review is a unique opportunity to get thoughtful feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. You’ll get on the spot praise and written critiques from experienced performers and other burlesque enthusiasts.

Info: Peer review allows a performer to receive valuable feedback they can use to polish and improve their act. They perform, just like at a show, and afterward they receive verbal praise and critiques. Performers will also receive comment cards they can leave with.
