Our second special Summer touristic event this year will cover the Koura district in the North where we will first have Saj breakfast, coffee before we start the tour.
Our first stop will be in Mar Elias Cave, also known as the Cave of Elijah, is a natural cave located in the Dar Baishtar area in Koura district that has been transformed into a religious shrine dedicated to Saint Mar Elias (Elijah). It is a site revered by various faiths, including Christians, Muslims, and Druze, who often visit to pray for healing and blessings.
After that we will stop at two Romanian temples El-Naous and Bziza then hit towards the old Souk of Kosba.
After Kosba Souk we will pass by to visit three old churches (Demyanos church, Mar Sarkis & Bakhos church and Mar Meter church more than 12 centuries old) in Btorran and Kousba before we head towards Semaan natural reserve where we will pick and eat seasonal fruits before we head towards Alexander's museum and have some rest before we go to have an open Lebanese lunch at Jerjes Oliviera restaurant.
If we had extra time left we will pass by a few additional historical places in Koura that we will inform you about.
