- **Event Description**: Learn how to make a glass festive snowflake tree decorationAbout this EventDiscover the wonderful world of glass in a Fused Glass workshop with Prosecco. This session will give you a great introduction to working with glass. You'll work with studio glass pieces, frit and stringer as well as other materials to create a snowflake tree decoration. Each decoration is 18-20cm in size and can be made with or without a hanging loop so you can display your beautiful creation however you wish.This workshop is designed to be fun and let you learn the basics of working with glass. The session assumes no previous experience with glass and is suitable for those aged 16+.Please wear closed toe shoes and not sandals or flipflops.Please note that your creations will not be available to take home on the day as they will need to be fired for at least 12 hours in the kiln. They will be ready for you to collect from Singleton Environment Centre 14 days after the workshop.Each ticket includes a complimentary glass of prosecco. Nozecco (non-alcoholic prosecco) or apple juice is available for those under 18 and those wishing to not drink alcohol.This event is supported by Great Chart with Singleton Parish Council.
